I am going to try and join the rest of the world and start blogging. It was only a few months ago that I even figured out what a blog was :) I am hopeful that this will be a way for those of you who choose to keep up with us to do so more easily. I think my little guy is hilarious and I am excited about being able to share some of our day to day happenings. I have enjoyed reading the blogs of my friends and family, I feel like it keeps me a little more connected to whats going on. I know that even if no one else does, the grandparents will have our website added to their favorites.
So here it goes...
Today, Brice and I got up early to beat the heat and go to the zoo. We arrived right when the gates opened and went running in. As we ran (those of you who know Brice well, know that he doesn't walk anywhere) through the exhibits today he was hissing at all the snakes and laughing at the monkeys. After the zoo, we came home and I was hopeful he would take a good long nap...nope. Napping is not an option. Instead, we played all afternoon and watched Finding Nemo. About 2:30 p.m. he finally went down for a nap and I just went in to check on him and he was laughing while sound asleep. I don't know what he's dreaming about, but it must be pretty funny. Maybe he's still thinking about those monkeys at the zoo.
I'm going to try my best to add posts and pictures often. We're a busy bunch, so check back and see what we've been up to.
Brice got a swing set this summer from his Grandma & Grandpa Mitchell. Playing on his swing set is his favorite thing to do. He has finally figured out how to sit up in the swing and stop himself without falling. He also really likes the glider and yells, "Wheee!" the entire time he's on it.
