The Latest

Our house no longer looks like this...

We are all unpacked and officially moved into our temporary home.  We have hung a few things on the walls so it is starting to feel like home.

The kids have settled right in. Their favorite part of the new house is the stairs.  You can tell these kids have lived in one story home until now.  They spend most of their afternoons like this...

(One good picture of the three of them together and then they turn into these kids)

Happy Groundhog Day!

As I have previously posted, as a small child I did not fully understand Groundhog Day so I developed my own idea.  I imagined Groundhog Day to be a day when giant, ferocious, swine beasts came out of the woods to run wild.  In my mind it was much too dangerous to step outdoors. Instead of putting my sweet, innocent mind at ease my parents ran with it.  So, for the last 30+ years I have been tormented annually.  Today's email was not my dad's best work but still funny.

And there you have it, some families have nice normal family traditions...then there is us.  Have a great day everyone and be safe out there!
