Just Ask Me?
I get a lot of questions by email and I usually just respond to each one individually. I am providing you an opportunity to ask me ANYTHING you want. Yep ANYTHING, adoption related or not. Will you adopt again or is your family complete with two?
My question for you could be how do you feel about your semi open adoption? Mine is semi open. I read open adoption blogs and they are such proponents of completely open adoption that my semi open adoption feels inadequate. I wonder if I should be more open. I want to do what's best for our daughter and although I am comfortbale with our plan I hope that it is what's truely best. I also have guilt that her BM doesn't have contat with us, I hope I am giving her everything she wants to know in our letters. She has to see how loved our daughter is. The most important thing is to do what's best for our kids. We are open with our daughter about her adoption (althoguh she's only 2 and doesn't get it so much). There are so many different opinions out there. What are your thoughts?
