Baby Shower

Brian's office held a shower/luncheon for us yesterday afternoon.  We had lots of food, conversation, stories and a good time. Amy (an associate of the firm) did a wonderful job planning the shindig and making sure no one left hungry.

When adopting, it is hard to plan a baby shower pre placement.  We have always had our showers after the babies were placed with us.  We felt having a shower beforehand might jinx our placement.  We have enjoyed the showers post placement because our babies have always been able to attend their own party!
