Waiting Children


I receive the following emails through an adoption list serv.  I do not have personal experience with the agencies or facilitators.  Please practice due diligence and research the postings.

3 girls age 5-8 Asia with Spina bifiada one post op, financial aid

Girl Date of Birth: 07/01/2006 Continent: Asia ID: JH6.ZDS.0706.32089.01 She is in a special education class in the orphanage where she performs above average compared to the other children in her class. Her caregiver said she is potty trained.. Blocks are her favorite toy. She gets along well with other kids, but she was too shy to tell us who her closest friends were. When she is upset, her caregiver gives her toys and holds her. She likes fruit and milk. She can speak 5-6 word sentences.. She is described as a busy, affectionate girl. There is a $2200 Promise Child grant for eligible families for this adoption. 

Girl, Date of Birth: 10/01/2005 Continent: Asia ID: XRF.LLL1005.32287.01 She is an outgoing, active, and talkative child who laughs often. She has been in foster care and received preschool education there. She has had surgery for spinal bifida. There is a $4200 Promise Child grant for eligible families for this adoption. 

Girl , Date of Birth: 11/01/2003,Continent: Asia, ID: JH5.LHH.1103.31304.01 She is currently living with a foster family that includes a mom and dad, grandparents, and a younger sister. Her favorite person is her mother and she enjoys playing games with her sister. Her caregivers say that she is very smart with above-average intelligence, but she is not going to school due to her special need. She cannot stand on her legs without full support from her arms, but when sitting, she can lift her legs up. She has Spina Bifada. She uses a wheelchair at home, but needs someone to push it for her. Her foster parents give her physical training at home. She likes to sing and play with Barbie dolls and her favorite foods are apples, bananas, watermelon and oranges. She says she wants to be a doctor when she grows up. There is a $4200 Promise Child grant for eligible families for this adoption. 

Please ask about additional private grants you can apply for. Can you adopt? Married couples and single woman may apply. There is an increased chance of getting an exception for these children if you don't meet all the requirements to adopt from China. Please ask about reusing a recent dossier or adopting two children at once.
