Quality Time

Now that Brice is in school all day (and I miss him about every second) Rogan and I get a lot of quality time together.  Of course we take his little sister everywhere we go but she's a breeze.  As long as her diaper is clean and her belly is full she is good to go.

About everyday has turned into Rogan day.  Today, we met Brian for lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant then walked next door to one of those yogurt bars.  We have never been to one before and it sure was fun!  Sixteen flavors and a whole lot of toppings to choose from.  They also have games to play and a chalkboard wall to draw on.  Afterward, Brian headed back to the grind and we headed to the park.

We played on the playground then went on a treasure hunt.  Our treasures generally include bugs, sticks, leaves, walnuts and anything else that a three year old finds on the ground that he believes is cool stuff.  Today our treasures were a couple of ant hills, some dragon flies and several big sticks.

After fun in the sun at the park we headed home for nap time before we pick up big brother.

Quality time.  Rogan waited three years for his one on one time and I hope he's enjoying it as much as I am.

 Searching for treasure.
We had a lot of terrain to cover.

Little sister lacks the enthusiasm for treasure hunting.  She snoozed right through it all.

Am, I'm not sure if you noticed, but your sweet little babies car seat straps are not at the right level. For rear facing, they need to be under her shoulders not above. Really don't mean to come accross as being critical, but just noticed it. I am a bit car seat crazy.
