Special Needs Child

I received the following comment on my BlogFrog post:
Do you know anyone who would be interested in international adoption of a little boy with arthrogryposis (joint issues, he's cognitively typical and can walk!!) I am so desperately trying to find him a home!
Please contact Molly at roneydapony@aol.com if you are interested.

If anyone would like to learn more about adopting and raising a child with arthrogryposis, they can visit my blog as well: http://perfectlyable.blogspot.com/

We are also advocating for this wonderful little boy!

I babysat a family years ago with a little boy that had arthrogryposis. I taught him to swim and he was such a great swimmer. It really gave him a boost at the pool to be able to outswim his friends. He went on to play the sax really well and even cut two albums with his band. He's an amazing 25 yr old man now! Thank you for bringing this special need to my attention again. It's been years since I've thought about it. My husband and I adopted our 4th child from Kazakhstan and have talked about adopting again. We both feel open to special needs and it breaks my heart to see those precious children that don't have to be crippled if only they could have the surgeries and therapy they need. I would assume we would need good health insurance and that's probably the place we should start. I'm not sure we were even ready to adopt again, yet, but I've shared this with my husband and we will pray about this need. Thank you again for your advocacy.
