We have been using A Step Ahead adoption consultants recently and I would recommend then so far. We've presented 5 profiles in the 2 weeks we've been active. They also stopped us when a situation was risky, I appreciate that even more. We have not been chosen yet but it's nice to have some action (and someone looking out for us)!! We've been waiting 21 months with 2 and are also active with 2 different agencies. Both are fine but not many opportunities.
A consultant is different than a facilitator!
Will you do a post on who you don't recommend? Also how you can file a complaint against an agency? Unfortunately, we know the procedure too well...
We're working with Adoption Options in Colorado. They've been around for years and recently became fully Hague Accredited. We've found them to be ethical and candid which was refreshing.
