Adopting Out of Birth Order

Received the following email today and thought many might be interested in tuning in:

This week's Creating a Family show tomorrow, March 10, will be on "Adopting Out of Birth Order, Artificial Twining and other `Should Nots' of Adoption " General adoption wisdom is that it is best not to adopt out of birth order or to create artificial twins through adoption. What are the realities of these decisions? Is it always a bad idea? Our guests will be Dr. Anne Brodzinsky, psychologist and co-author of Children's Adjustment to Adoption, and Dr. Martha Henry, Director of the Office for Foster Care and Adoption (formerly the Adoption Research Center) at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and co-author of Adoption in the United States: A Reference for Families, Professionals, and Students.

You can listen or download the show at the radio page of www.CreatingaFamily.org. You can send questions in advance to "info at creatingafamily.org". Please pass the news about this blog and show to other forums and groups.
