Child In Waiting

Tracy from The Adoption Authority has provided the following email:

I'd like to post a birthmother situation.

We have an African American birth mother who is choosing adoption for her unborn child. She would like to see profiles of African American families, who are homestudy ready. The details are as follows:

She has 2 children, ages 1 and 2. She is married and her husband is in agreement with the adoption plan. She is mid 20's, recently lost her job, and is working towards her Bachelor's Degree at this time. She will need some birthmother expenses, but the amount is unknown at this time.

We are estimating that this adoption will run somewhere in the neighborhood of $26K, due to the birthmother expenses and she is early in the pregnancy (She has not went to the first doctor's appointment yet). This amount would not cover travel expenses, post placement visits, or ICPC if needed.

If you are interested and home study ready, please forward me a copy of your homestudy and profile/birth mother letter. As stated, she prefers African American families, but will consider Caucasian families, if needed. This BM is in Florida--which means the consent is valid upon signing and there is no waiting period.

You can fax to me at 866 384 3669, or email to me at tracy@theadoptionauthority.com

Thanks
