Haiti

My husband's 28 year old cousin Rachel is in Haiti.  She was there when the earthquake hit and she has been there since August.  Rachel is a missionary-teacher at the House of Compassion Orphanage in Port-au-Prince.  Fortunately, the orphanage was not damaged in the earthquake.

Rachel's parents have heard from her once and she is fine. Unfortunately, the communication system is poor and phone lines are very garbled.  Her father could hear her on the other end of the line and tried his best to make out what she said.  He stated it sounded like she were underwater or something, but he was happy to hear her voice.

Please take a moment pray for Rachel's safe return to Missouri. I know her parents will not rest until she is home safe and sound.  We are all just thankful for her well being.
